If your home pregnancy test is positive, then please call the surgery and arrange an appointment with the midwife. This test is available with the Health Care Assistant, Practice Nurses or a doctor on request. We have a limited number of blood testing appointments available and would like to let you know about the options available to you locally.
Everyone leads busy lives and we at the Ringmead Medical Practice understand that it can sometimes be difficult to make an appointment to see us. Here are the ways to make appointments. You can book an appointment up to two weeks in advance. For example, if you know you are due a Medication Review there is no need to leave it until your prescription is due - Book in advance.
Outside normal surgery hours you can still phone the surgery, but you will be directed to the out-of-hours service. The out-of-hours period is from 6.30pm to 8.00am on weekdays and all day at weekends and on bank holidays. If it is not an immediate emergency then please call NHS 111. NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
