The Courtyard Centre For Health & Wellbeing
We are super excited to have reopened our studios including lots of new additions to our timetable - WARM YOGA, HOT YOGA - as well as all our previous classes we know and love. Our VIRTUAL STUDIO is up and running with over 70 good quality recorded classes of varying lengths, levels, and styles (Yoga: Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Pregnancy, Laughter Yoga, Meditation & Pilates).

This is a challenging time and many of us, or those around us are experiencing fear, uncertainty, stress or anxiety. Yoga and meditation are wonderful tools to help us connect with the calm and peace that lies within. We start the day with a 90 min Vinyasa Flow Yoga (asana) practice to get us moving and the energy flowing.
Services
The Courtyard Centre began with a vision to create a peaceful place where people can come to relax, take time for themselves, maintain or develop a healthy lifestyle, try something new and connect with others. Whether that be through a class, therapy, event, workshop or retreat, we aim to cater for all ages and stages of life in our community.
The Courtyard Centre was founded by a family of 3 passionate Yogis with the intention of creating the highest quality Centre for true wellbeing.

A Centre underpinned by Yogic principles that recognises the individual and a holistic approach to wellness, combining elements of Yoga, Meditation, and similar practices with holistic treatments, and that support a community of teachers, therapists, students and staff who feel a part of our family - that they belong here.
Here at The Courtyard we are passionate about making Yoga accessible to everyone and have created a supportive, welcoming and enjoyable experience for beginners of all ages (our students age from 10week old babies to those in their 90s!), abilities, shapes and sizes to learn and enjoy the many benefits of yoga (no - you don't have to be flexible already to practice Yoga!).
Working with posture and the breath to bring harmony and balance to body, mind and spirit. Hatha Yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga in the world. Hatha Yoga uses postures (asana) and conscious breathing (Pranayama) in combination with mental focus to develop awareness, strength and flexibility, and relaxation.
Pilates is a low impact exercise programme suitable for all age groups and fitness levels. The focus is to develop core strength by working with the deep muscles of the abdomen and lower back. With practice, you will notice many benefits including improvements to your posture, body tone and flexibility.

The Courtyard is such a little gem! Such a warm, welcoming and happy place. I've been practising yoga here for years and absolutely love it. Dianne is such an inspirational teacher to learn from. Would highly recommend anyone to try it out! Thank you to the whole team. :)

I went in for a coffee and returned later for a tea for a break from work. The prices are competitive and its a very nice and cosy place to spend a bit of time in. The staff are very friendly and the service is equally as good. They are also very knowledgeable about the well being services they provide. Yoga, meditation etc. There are ample sockets to plug your laptop or phone in. Whenever i work in this lovely town this is my homebase for my breaks.

Been here twice now to the monthly gourmet nights, vegaterian food is excellent but they also do raw food wich is outstanding, compliments to beth who puts the food together. This is a very welcoming and calm place to come where you are greeted and treated just right. The perfect evening with smiles and banter all round
