Services
We are, like everyone else new at this way of working, although we will improve and adapt to become experts very quickly, and ask for your understanding and patience during the initial opening phase. We have several contactless hand sanitiser stations within the pub as well as at both doors. There is a hand washing station in the garden as well as a hand sanitiser station for your use.

Expensive and no logic to the portions or quality of the food. The cauliflower wings tasted nice but were overpriced for a small portion of veg. The peas with the fish and chips were just strange, neither mushy nor whole with an odd minted taste. The Tartare sauce was runny, lacked flavour and was a huge disapointment, I couldn't see or taste any gherkins in it. The fish and chips were well cooked but a bit bland without decent sauce or veg to perk them up. My freind"s expensive dessert was so tiny it wax gone in 3 mouthfuls yet a similarly priced Brownie was huge. The wait staff were attentive

The staff working Saturday 11th December where amazing they turned a ruined day for our family in to an amazing evening, they went above and beyond to make me, my wife and more importantly our children feel so welcome, they kept chatting to them all evening and even let our little boy take some bits form the Christmas tree.
Then to top it all off the food was great, a real quality local pub

Hard to choose from the great menu, so many tasty options. Seduced into a starter which was great. All well cooked - the best looking or I have seen for a long time, very jealous of my companions choice! Huge gin list and our wine was costly but worth the price. In fact, apart from commentating on the great service from what seemed a happy team of staff, i'd sum up to say that it wasn't cheap (not that expensive either but we got carried away) but was extremely good value.
