Dropped in by chance last Sunday.- 2 of us. Nothing was too much trouble and other than sending back some tepid cauliflower cheese, everything was delightful. Staff are well trained, decor and ambience are lovely and the ingredients are clearly well sourced too. The wine list is somewhat eccentric (fine in itself) but has some notable holes. But a good place for sure.

The photos of this venue do not do it justice. The bloody Mary's are piquant and perfect. My husband's beef was tender and moist, and my pork belly was a delight. The sticky toffee pudding was lighter than expected, but didn't disappoint with the luxurious and indulgent feeling that a sticky toffee pudding should have. The staff are attentive but not obtrusive, and super friendly. Next time I'm in the area I will go there again

Today we went for lunch at the blade bone pub at Bucklebury. And to say the least was very disappointing. Firstly we was asked to sit in the conservatory that was cold. Trying to be heated with a electric radiator. Can’t moan too much about the food apart from the roast potatoes had probably been sat in A baking tray for several hours. We… proceeded to ask for a desert menu. I calculated at least 20 minutes later I was not presented with anything. Although my waitress had passed my table several times . At that point I decided to leave and go and pay my bill. Where I was approached

What a beautiful placeā€¦. I came for lunch with my family and was not disappointed. The food was superb and beautifully presented. Each course was a delight and enjoyed by us all. You know the feeling of eating something and never want it to end? - well, thatā€™s the feeling you get in this beautiful place - fabulous attentive, smiley staff who were so accommodating when my 87 year old Dad wasnā€™t feeling too hungry. An absolute gem and one I look forward enormously to visiting again.

5 stars for the food, but 2 knocked off for the service unfortunately āāā
Positives: Lovely pub, great food. Very much enjoyed the Sunday roast. A little pricey but worth it
Negatives: Having to wait atleast 35 minutes after being given dessert menus, to actually order our desserts. We had to ask twice, and waitresses were walking past us, giving eye contact but ignoring us. Then as we were finishing desserts, being rushed because they needed the table back. A little cheeky to keep us waiting over half an hour, only to then rush us for our table back, and then to be stung Ā£5 service charge

Absolutely appalled by the service and table provided for our booking (which had been made in advance). Turned up 10 minutes early to our booking to be told that our table wasn’t ready (which is fine) - we were seated on a pub bench in their ‘top lawn’ where there were about 15-20 people just drinking - not abiding social distancing/going in and… out of the pub. Ordered our drinks when seated on this table to be still waiting for our order 30 minutes later and having received two incorrect orders for another table first. Finally, 30 minutes later (20minutes after our booking

While in London, we got to check out an awesome, award-winning local pub about 30 minutes outside London. The inside was so lovely, cute, inviting, with a good amount of seating.
They have a fully stocked bar at the entrance, offering all sorts of beer and wine, sure to find something that fits your taste buds.
The restaurant created a kind of ā€œsampleā€ platter to share, with cheesy scones, cheese, and sausages. They were all so very tasty! Nice beginning to our dinner feastā€¦
For appetizer, we had King Scallops & Venison, and Scallops Gruyere Gratinated with Panko Crumb, Dunkin Toast, and

We had the most lovely meal last night in celebration of our 4yr anniversary. Richie had done out wedding food when we got married at Herons Barn and we thought, what better way to celebrate our anniversary than visit The Bladebone! The food was just as amazing as it was on our Wedding day!

Extremely accommodating to a gluten and lactose allergy. The staff were very attentive and created a meal I could eat. It was even presented beautifully like an actual meal they had designed (see below picture)!! The complimentary starter was also gluten free for me which was a lovely touch. Definitely recommend.
