Our Gin Garden can be all yours for any spring or summer event. It's ideal for any occasion, with space for up to 80 people, no better place to get everyone together! Our garden has been made into the perfect retreat for your summer Alfresco experience, with our new heated stretch tent, keeping you covered if the unpredictable British weather decides to change!

Won't be back.
Waited for food for about 40 minutes for part of the food to arrive. Then another 5 minutes for the remainder dish and then another couple of minutes for the cutleries. The table next to us arrived several some 15 minutes later than us and got their food about 10 minutes ahead of us. So the pub staffs' explanation of being busy sounds like excuses.
The dish arrived cold and the cutleries was handed over in a small steel basket compare to next table a proper basket with sauces and condiments (and staffs even didn't bother to ask if we need ketchup for the chips or salt and pepper

Visited White Hart as a friend of mine had a good food experience here. Our group had ordered burgers but unfortunately they were overcooked and very dry. We ate them anyway as we were very hungry and had waited an hour (which servers noted due to equipment/technical errors). The good part of this experience was the cosy environment. I'd very much like to support local pubs but unfortunately we won't be back again.

After having been turned away from another pub at lunchtime today we came across The White Heart by accident. The manager and staff were very friendly and accommodating and the covid rules were well explained. Everything was set up very Covid secure and we felt very safe. We chose to eat outside under the super marquee with heaters and blankets provided and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Thank you for making our day!

First pub dining experience since before lockdown and we were not disappointed. Recommended by a friend who had enjoyed a working lunch here, we brought our two preschoolers for a lunch before I had to return to work.
Quiet atmosphere, clean tables and toilets, helpful and polite staff. The food in one word-amazing! I've never been beaten by a pudding until now. Rich and scrummy chocolate brownie with creamy ice cream. Sad to say but the icing on the cake was the excellent music played in the pub; 90s pop hit the spot and made us very nostalgic. Thanks for a lovely experience and for serving food

Nice pub, plenty of seating outside, plenty of parking. Staff are ALWAYS nice and polite. Reasonable prices, although the cheapest bottle of white wine on menu was £20. The food was nice, but my Hunter's Pie looked very nice, but was a bit stodgy and could have had a bit more flavour. All in all, a nice place.

We went to the white hart pub yesterday night and it was a truly wonderful experience, the food, the selection of winter mulled gins and the wine!! The staff are very attentive (Holly in particular) the manager Mark is very personable. We had a lovely evening. We booked our Christmas dinner and cannot wait!!

We had a great meal at the White Hart yesterday and I understand that the food was cooked by a young chef called Kieran - the food was fantastic and the pigeon starter was a particular highlight. A great chef who obviously understands flavours and has a love for what he does. Well done. We will be back.

Had a fantastic experience during recent birthday celebrations at the White Hart. We hired the Gin Garden which provided the perfect setting to celebrate with family and friends. Great service a more than… helpful team and great selection of drinks and food meant we all had a superb time - I would highly recommend using the pub as a venue for birthday celebrations or social gatherings. Well done :-)
