Live music is hosted every weekend, supporting local bands, DJ's and artists from Surrey, Hampshire and the surrounding areas. The nights range from Rock and Punk to Acoustic and Ska. We have a range of delicious 12 pizzas in a variety of flavours and paninis cooked hot, as well as a variety of pub snacks.

The room is currently used for wedding parties, band practice, photo shoots, charity events and all types of parties. The bar is divided into two sections, one with a pool table and darts board available to play every day. Interested in playing for our teams? About Us Report

The White Hart is a historic pub, established c1600, and is reputably Basingstokes oldest boozer. We took over the pub in 2016, and began making some much needed changes to bring the pub back to life. We also brought back Live Music, as the White Hart has always been recognised as a great venue for local talent.

Live Music Report

The White Hart has always been a venue for Live Music, and we pride ourselves on giving local artists a platform to showcase their talents. Every Friday & Saturday we host music/DJ nights from all genres; Rock, Acoustic, Indie, Punk and everything in between. Music starts at 8.30pm and ends at 11pm and entry is always free!.

Function Room Report

We have a large, private function room available for hire, perfect for a variety of occasions. Located on the first floor and with its own private entrance, the room is completely separate from the main pub. The room is equipped with it's own bar, toilet facilities and in house sound system so you can play your own music.

I hired the White Hart function room for a Christmas drinks event. The venue and buffet food were good and well priced. Communication with the venue contact Sophie was excellent.

Great pub with friendly staff and a great Landlord and Landlady. Regularly host live music and make the effort to make your time there as good as possible. Also dog friendly if you fancy a cheeky pint while out walking.

Hosted a suprise birthday party on Satray 14th December and it was brilliant. Sophie and the team could not do enough for us. Lovely barman amazing food. They catered for all the family and friends which included both food for the children and a vegan selection...very impressed. We will be back

Hosted a surprise party here last month & it was fantastic. The lady who showed me around and I spoke to was extremely helpful and friendly. The hall is a good size & beautifully decorated. The bar staff was friendly on the night & it's priced perfectly. Highly recommend.
