The Queens Head
Landlady Carol Williams has now been awarded this accolade by local CAMRA group for 2 years in a row in recognition of the pubs commitment to Real Ale, LocAles and keeping them in tip top condition. So you can be sure of a great pint of beer at the Queens head pub in Wokingham. Don't eb afraid to ask for a taster as Carol and all of the staff at the Queens Head are proud of their Real Ales.

Cider drinkers have a choice of Tutts Clump proper cider, Thatcher's Gold or Aspalls and for Lager there is Beck's Vier, Fosters, Kronenberg amongst others as well as Guiness and Craft beers including Noble, Yardbird and East coast IPA. Freshly brewed great coffee is also available and there is a good choice of quality red, white and rose wines.
Services
There are six real ales available at the queens head most of the time including three local ales and a selection of three ales from Greene King including the ever popular Queens Head Beer. All kept at tip top condition and available as a paddle of 3 1/3rd pints if you would like to taste several. Tasters are available just ask and the staff who are knowledgable about the beers should you have any questions.
The Queen's Head has two outside areas. In the front overlooking the terrace and watching the world go by is very popular with all ages. As you sit down with a drink on the classic pub benches all your cares just melt away. At the back of the pub is a well kept local secret. A beautifully tended garden which has decking and landscaping as well as an Aunt Sally pitch.

Very cozy low ceilinged oak beamed pub, had a great pint of rebellion in front of an open log fireplace, wouldn't have been out of place in a Dickens novel (minus the starving orphans)

Beautiful 14th century pub which is just like being transported back in time! We looked out across the sunset and it was as if I was sitting in the same seat an old mucker in the 1400s would have sat

Awful landlady. Acts like she is Peggy Mitchell. Speaks to people like dirt. I wouldn't spend my money in this hole considering how many good pubs there are in Wokingham

Good old fashioned pub. Great place to sit and sup, or have a chat, or play some old dangled pub games in the back garden.
