Services
Outdoor play is an important part of our daily routine and all of our children have free flow access to our two gardens for large portions of the day. Our wonderful staff are weather resistant and the children are encouraged outside whatever the weather! Particular favourites with the children are our large wooden pirate ship, complete with telescope and ship's wheel and our well-stocked mud kitchen!
Our early years educators have a wealth of knowledge and experience in childcare, with all being full or part qualified in their relevant qualifications. Some staff have been at the setting for approaching 25 years and some have their own children and grandchildren. Our staff love being around children and enjoy watching the children grow and develop over the time that they are here.
The work of the Anthony Roper Pre-School and Kindergarten is overseen by four Committee members; Vicky, Nikki, Sam and Donna who act as trustees for the charity. The Anthony Roper Pre-School and Kindergarten PTA was formed in 2015. The Pre-School operates as a charity, therefore, all fees go towards the everyday running costs of the unit. The PTA aims to raise money over the year for new and exciting resources and equipment, to help provide a fun and stimulating environment for your children and those who will attend in the future.
