Falconwood Preschool was set up roughly 25 years ago and was first based above the Co-Op at The Green at Falconwood. I have worked within the childcare sector for 16 years firstly as a volunteer in a preschool then after gaining my NVQ3 in Childcare learning and development, i worked at another pre school where i stayed for 12 years.
I re-registered the setting as Falconwood Preschool as I feel that this reflects that we are more than a just a playgroup. The children flourish within our setting and are happy within their environment. We are governed by Ofsted and follow the values as set out within the Early Years Framework.

I can not recommend Debbie and her amazing team at Falconwood Preschool enough. My little girl had her second educational experience here and the first wasn't overly successful. She enjoyed her time enough when there but never wanted to go - this all changed when she started at Falconwood. She's so excited, so happy and has learnt so much.
We have informed the children's parents or guardians that they must adhere to our four rules to get continued financial support. They must always try their best - we didn't want to say they have to achieve a certain grade as this may not be achievable for some children but so long as their teachers say the child is trying their best, that is good enough for us.
