Jumping Beans Pre-school
Jumping Beans operate 2 pre-schools based in Bean and Greenhithe. Ofsted reports have given a "Good" inspection result at both settings. Jumping Beans cater for children from 2-5 years old and provide an environment where they can play, have fun and learn, with a great range of resources and support from caring, qualified staff.

We offer an open door policy and welcome children from all sections of the community, regardless of colour, race or religion. We aim to provide a friendly relaxed environment where children can feel safe and secure. Jumping Beans was formed in 2005 in Bean village by Allison Usher (BA Hons) and Karen Hastings (BA Hons), now the managers and co-owners.
Services
Our first site started in 2005 in Bean village situated just a short distance from Bluewater shopping centre, Dartford and Greenhithe. Jumping Beans is a small community pre-school situated in the youth & community hall in the main High Street of Bean village. The hall has good disabled access and facilities.
Overview Young children learn through play - they do not differentiate between work and play. In this curriculum we are trying to give a broad view of the types of activities on offer, and their learning outcomes - these are based on early learning goals and the foundation stage curriculum as laid out by the department for skill and education.
Sessions BEAN Pre-School sessions Monday, Wednesday 9.15am - 12.15pm. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.00am - 12.00pm and 12.00pm - 3.00pm. We run a "Rising 4's" session at Bean on a Thursday afternoon. GREENHITHE Pre-School sessions Monday - Friday 9.00am - 12.00pm and 12.00pm - 3.00pm We run a "Rising 4's" session at Greenhithe on a Tuesday afternoon.
Our waiting list is based in order of date of birth, but we aim to be as flexible as possible to accommodate children. If you would like to apply for your child to attend one of the Jumping Beans Pre-Schools, please download an application form and either hand it in or post it to the appropriate site.
