A curriculum that encourages your child to develop positive attitudes about themselves and others. Individual care and attention made possible by a higher than required ratio of adults to children. A safe and secure environment. Appropriate provision to ensure each child receives the widest possible opportunity to develop their individual skills and abilities at their own pace.
Within the group all children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace. Our key worker system enables us to ensure a planned curriculum tailored to the needs of each individual child. Through appropriate activities/resources and a higher than required level of adult supervision we are able to offer a curriculum which enables children to progress steadily towards the nationally set Early Learning Goals.
No, children will feel they are playing and having fun. The preschool or school staff will provide a selection of appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors. The staff plan the activities based on the current interests and abilities of the children present.
Sometimes the activities will be led by adults in order to practise and develop particular skills like using scissors or gluing, or learning new songs and rhymes to develop children's awareness of sounds and letters.At other times children will select what they play with from a rich learning environment set up in the playroom, or outdoor provision.

Little Lambs Pre-school is accessible to children and families from all sections of the local community and surrounding areas. Little Lambs operates a first come first served waiting list so to avoid disappointment please place your childs name down as soon as possible. We welcome both Parents and carers, all religions and social groups, children with and without disabilities.
Little Lambs is open 38 weeks of the year and mirrors the local school term times to help parents arrange their childcare requirements. We also offer a Lunch club for children that stay all day or for those who may want to enjoy there lunch with us! Parents and carers should note that you must supply your child's pack lunch if you want them to have lunch with us.
