We treat our children as independent, individual people capable of learning how to make great choices for themselves. Our curriculum is inspiring and creative, our team highly qualified and experienced. All of us at the nursery are passionate about learning and are determined to offer every child the best opportunities possible.
We have an open-plan, free-flow, natural environment where children can explore, learn and play. Using open-ended resources, we design each child's next steps, acting spontaneously and instinctively on their individual needs to scaffold and enhance their play, learning and development. At Toddlers Inn, we have a separate facility for the under-twos, where our experienced, caring staff cater for your child's individual needs.
In the Oak Garden and Forest School, our children have freedom to explore a natural environment, and can develop a sense of wonder about nature. It's also a place where they learn to cultivate and nurture: in our gardening club, children can grow their own fruit and veg, and eat them for lunch if we're lucky!
Toddlers Inn Nursery School can be found in the grounds of St Peters Primary School on the A275 East Grinstead Road in North Chailey near Lewes. We can also be reached from the A272 and A22. Toddlers Inn...what as wonderful place. After a slightly rocky start we settled in completely. Any concerns are listened to and the staff take an active stance in ensuring that worries are turned into wonder.
My daughter has had a wonderful time during her nursery years she played, got dirty, laughed, loved and was taught about the importance of caring for others (others include all the little creatures that cross our garden paths each day) the nursery takes an active role in teaching the children about their environment and the children enjoy celebrating various days like Earth Day, Chinese New

Toddlers Inn is an incredible nursery, my daughters been going since 9 months and has absolutely enjoyed her time here.
The staff have been fantastic, always welcoming and have the children’s best interests at heart, with daily updates on what the children get up too and in depth focus review notes.
The use of their outdoor space is amazing and I’d recommend the nursery to anyone.

My daughter has been going to Toddlers Inn since she was 1 and she absolutely loves it. The staff are fantastic, very helpful and do lots of fun things with the children. The setting is wonderful, the children get to spend lots of time outdoors and have lots of choice in what they want to do. My daughter always comes home with a smile on her face, happily telling us about what she has been up to. I can’t recommend it enough!

Toddlers Inn helped our eldest prepare for starting primary school. They helped her gain confidence creating friendships and trying new experiences, in a wonderful caring and nurturing environment.
Our youngest is still there & couldn’t be happier. No two days are the same and she always has the best stories to tell of her days.
She runs in and is sad to come home, which is a real testament to the staff and setting!

My daughter has been going to Toddlers Inn since she was 10 months old. She adapted to nursery really well. Especially coming out of lockdown and not really socialising with other babies. She has a lovely bond with Lisa and get so excited every time she see her. They have a lovely day together filled with loads of different activities! She also has a lovely time with Nadia too. They do lots of outdoors play and her confidence has grown loads since going. We couldn’t be happier with our nursery choice! Thank you everyone at Toddlers Inn!!

Since attending Toddlers Inn my granddaughter has become even more imaginative, chatty and independent. She loves to talk about the friends she has made. The activities offered to the children are so varied and fun, they even do baking, and everything seems so well organised. The children are even able to have a lovely meal together. Every nursery should be like Toddlers Inn.

Toddlers inn is a fantastic nursery! fantasic out door space and lovely staff. My daughter has been going since she was 16 months old and struggles in some areas and the staff have been very supportive understanding and patient with my daughter from day one! My son also attends holiday club at toddlers inn. Both my children love it and always come home very happy! I couldn't ask for more from a nursery. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!!

My son has been attending Toddlers Inn since September and I can't recommend the nursery and staff highly enough. My son jumps with excitement every morning and he loves all the activities that have been planned for him. They are very informative and I feel very much at ease knowing that my son is in good hands each day. For anyone thinking of sending their child to nursery, this is the place for them!
