I am delighted to welcome you to Harbour Primary & Nursery School. We are all very proud of our beautiful building and look forward to showing you around! At Harbour Primary we have a clear vision for our school which unites staff, governors, families and children. We share a determination that all children will achieve the very best that they can in our welcoming, creative, inclusive community.
We have a short and simple school motto 'Always Be Curious' our ABC! We expect all staff, parents and children to remember that at Harbour Primary we aim for everyone to ask questions, be keen and eager to learn, be inquisitive, be enquiring and to appreciate the wonder of discovering something new and different.

Our Pupil Premium Policy which can be viewed below states clearly how we allocate the funding that we receive according to our values and ethos. We have a clear, strategic approach to the use of specific Pupil Premium funding and plans are integrated into wider school support and improvement systems.
Our Remote Learning Policy contains information about what is expected and available for all of our children who need to complete their learning from home. Dear Parents and Carers home learning for the children this week is posted or explained below. Reception classes remote learning will be shared through 'Evidence Me' rather than our website.

The Governing Board is committed to doing all that it can to ensure that children here get the very best. Our Governors work closely with our staff, take an active interest in the school and visit regularly during the school day to see us "in action". They meet at least six times a year to review, plan and discuss all aspects of school management and to ensure that a high standard of education is provided for all.
Our Nursery is situated within our building called the 'Foundation Village' and provides a structured environment in which children feel safe and well cared for. We aim to provide high quality care and education within a safe, happy, interesting, family-oriented environment in which each child is encouraged to develop their full potential whilst having LOTS OF FUN!
