At Ditchling (St Margaret's) CE Primary and Nursery School our clear vision - Learning Together. Building Success - unites staff, governors, families and children. Alongside regular teaching of literacy and mathematics, including daily phonics sessions in early years and Key Stage 1, children's learning across the curriculum is enriched by regular outdoor learning opportunities including Forest School.

At Ditchling (St Margaret's) CE Nursery we are committed to offering quality care and provision for every child. We aim to help each child learn and develop to their full potential within a safe, stimulating and caring environment. We offer children a fun time where friendships can flourish and where the children are happy and contented.
Opal is our Reception class, joined by some of Year 1 in the afternoons, with Miss Blackmore as class teacher and a Teaching Assistant. The Foundation Stage curriculum is play based, and involves children self-selecting activities, whole class activities and small adult led activities by the teachers and support staff.
