You can find out if you're in a priority group eligible for flu vaccine on NHS Inform website. The vaccinations are NOT being run by your GP practice but some clinics may be based in practice buildings. There will be other clinics set up at larger venues to vaccinate large numbers of people quickly.

You will have a pre-booked appointment or be invited to make a booking at the vaccination clinic. Please keep an eye on our website or NHS Inform. Please be reassured that the practice remains open and those requiring medical advice will be triaged by a doctor and seen if required. You can do this by phoning 01506 771800.
Services
Formal applications for access must be in writing. The records must be vetted by a partner as information relating to identifiable third parties (without consent), or which in the opinion of the appropriate health professional would be likely to cause harm, must be witheld. Other health professionals who have contributed to the health record are generally excluded from this i.e.
Assessments and physical check ups are made on children when they are 6-8 weeks old in accordance with HALL4 but. Yvonne, our health care assistant is available Monday to Thursday by appointment to see patients for phlebotomy, blood pressures, B12. Appointments are available on weekdays between 8.30 am and 4.30pm, though 2 mornings per week 2 GPs start consulting at 7am. You may request to see any doctor in the practice, not just the one you are registered with. Please ask the receptionist if you have a preference but bear in mind that you may not be able to see this doctor, if your request is urgent.

Just had the most ignorant receptionist I have had the displeasure of meeting who actually stood up out her seat and asked me to leave stating I was being aggressive this individual should not be working as front line staff because she would not listen to my enquiry because the computer was running slow her words her name is Mary Jane

I have had a couple of appointments with Wood Medical in the last few months (in telephone and in person) and have been so pleased with my experience. The reception staff have always been efficient and friendly and the Doctor and nurse I have seen have been compassionate and professional. Thank you!

Great surgery, although busy, have always manged to get an appointment when needed. Lovely GP's and usually seen within 10mins of appointment time which is definitely good going.

Been with this practice for 20 years and have always been treated courteously during my contacts with them. Like most practices in West Lothian, it can be tricky getting an appointment quickly but I have never had any issues with particularly long waiting times, and have found all staff polite and helpful.

Booking an appointment with this practice at all is a nightmare! The Doctors and nurses are all lovely, but it's anyone's guess if you'll get to see one when you need! The phone lines are jammed as soon as the practice opens, and most of the time the phone queue system isn't in use, meaning you need to constantly redial.
Edit: 8 months later, and this surgery has gone from bad to worse. I've had to book multiple appointments for the same issue because the receptionist hasn't 'booked the right doctor', and they lost my smear test, only to find it 5 minutes after doing it again. Rediculous .

Just phoned doctors to register with these jokers. The receptionist was one cheeky cow don't think I will be joining them to get insulted again. Disgusting behaviour expect a complaint as I am in the process of doing it now. Unbelievable!

Pass the buck and don't deal with my children's illness.... Not a A+E issue but told to go hospital by the nurse. The whole point of your practice is to deal with non-emergency patients not complicate hospitals even more!

Very rude dealings with a receptionist regarding registering at this medical practice. I've now registered elsewhere due to her rudeness!!!
