I have been a patient here for 10 years and the doctors, nurses and reception staff have always been really friendly, efficient and helpful. Even during COVID the service has been excellent - thank you :)

Fake reviews and the service is terrible. Most of these reviews are written by the staff themselves.

After months of chronic fatigue and sickness with constant visits to the doctor I was diagnosed with ME by Gilmore Medical Practice.
It was only when I moved surgery to Leith that I was found to have a severe vitamin D deficiency through routine blood tests. I’m not sure how this was missed at Gilmore - to anyone using this doctor just make sure that you push for full bloods if you need them. I could barely function, and would hate to know what would have happened to my body and mind if I had accepted this diagnosis.
I am probably an outlier - but just wanted to make sure people were aware

Easily the best GP surgery my husband or I have ever been to. The receptionists, the doctors, and the nurses all treat their patients with care and respect. They take the time to listen and be helpful. We can get appointments when we need and they are just a model practice.

Very efficient in getting an appointment, easy to use electronic sign in, very friendly and professional GP. There was some difficulty in getting through on the phone initially but this is to be expected at 8am on a Monday morning. I've been very impressed by the practice so far and would recommend them.

Ignore the low Star reviews below, these are just from people who could not get signed up to the clinic. Once you are signed up its fantastic. Called up in the morning to book an appointment and one was available within an hour. Appointment was on time and Dr Baker was very knowledgable and kind. It did not feel rushed like other GPs. Appointment booking 5 Star, Staff 5 Star, On Time 5 Start

My experience has been nothing short of fantastic! I've been supplied with the best care I could possibly wish for and the attentiveness of extremely capable professionals to whom I'm very grateful.
I would highly recommend this practice if you ever get the chance to register.

** Warning Avoid **. The reception and admin staff need to be less arrogant, dismissive and passive-aggressive. You know when you are being talked down with a fake smile. The Public are NOT stupid. This to me is a prelude and validation of the type of diagnosis to come. You have to announce yourself on arrival, as not made obvious despite having an appointment and all 4/5 staff are quite willing to hide behind their PC monitors/phones and not acknowledge anyone waiting at the desk. Why can't they just turn the desks 90 degrees to face the counter ? (so simple). Lost my appointment slot. Quite shocking
