If you are aged 12 years and over and have a minor injury which is less than 14 days old (for example: suspected broken bones, sprains, wounds, burns, bites and stings, eye injuries), you should call NHS24 on 111 to arrange a confidential discussion with a Nurse Practitioner, who will assess your injury and provide advice.
This will take place by video call but, if you do not have video technology, you will be given an appointment to attend the Minor Injuries Service.

Services
The practice has a manager and a team of 10 administrative staff who provide support to our Doctors and Practice Nurses. Our Practice Manager, Lesley Carter, has overall responsibility for the practice and its employees. Lesley's job as manager is to oversee the day-to-day running of the practice and ensure that high standards are achieved and maintained.
To arrange an appointment with a doctor or nurse, please ring 0131 337 2166 or call at Reception, between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that we are unable to accept requests to book or cancel appointments by email. In times of very high demand it may not always be possible to give you an appointment with the doctor of your choice but in an emergency our patients will always be seen by one of the doctors.
Patients who are on long-term medication can request a repeat issue of their prescription. The doctor may ask to see you before issuing some repeat prescriptions. If you would usually make an appointment to see your GP for your prescription (for example: anti-depressants, contraception, HRT, pain relief), then please telephone us on 0131 337 2166 to book a telephone consultation with your usual GP.
Please ring 0131 337 2166 after 2.00pm, Monday to Friday, for test results. Unless the doctor or nurse instructs you otherwise, please allow 5 working days before 'phoning for results. For the avoidance of doubt always contact us for your test results, do not assume that results are fine if you do not hear from us.
Do you provide unpaid help or support to a relative, friend or neighbour who cannot manage to live independently without your help? You may not think of yourself as a Carer but if you do provide unpaid help or support we would urge you to please inform a member of staff as we may have information relevant to you or the person you care for, including support services and benefits you may be entitled to.
