We are a two-site small animal practice in Stevenage, first established in the 1960s. We are passionate about veterinary medicine and animal welfare and our skilled team of vets and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. To provide excellent continuity of care, and to help minimise worry in stressful situations, we are open seven days a week and provide our own 24-hour emergency care.

We also offer free parking for clients at both clinics. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.
Services
We are a two-site practice in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, serving Stevenage and the surrounding villages. Roebuck Veterinary Group was founded in the 1960's to serve the pet owners of Stevenage. We are committed to ensuring that both surgeries provide a personal and caring service for their clients. As well as a trained and enthusiastic team, we also invest in the latest technology, allowing us to offer the best clinical service that we can.
Here at Roebuck Veterinary Group, we're very proud to have so many enthusiastic and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgeries we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01438 745833 (Great Ashby) or 01438 354599 (Roebuck) and you will be advised what to do next. To provide excellent continuity of care, and to help minimise worry in stressful situations, we are open seven days a week and provide our own 24-hour emergency care for clients registered with the Roebuck Veterinary Group and clients of Woolpack Vets.

Basics like annual jabs and check up's fine but we've had serious issues with both our dogs and have been left upset and felt let down by the care we have received over the last few months. We have now moved to a small independant practice which is like a breath of fresh air in comparison. The complaints procedure is flawed, they were never going to admit to any wrong doing as it would open them up to a court case. The only phone calls we ever received weren't to ask how our puppy was doing, they were to chase payment.

Not very good. I have had my dog put to sleep today. We took him to the great Ashby vet got shown the bill first before treatment. He got worse so took him for a second opinion at vets for pets letchworth. Where he was cared for amazingly. Great Ashby/roebuck didn't send his history over. Until it was too late. He is gone. I feel it was more about the money then my dog. I wouldn't even star rate them. All the treatments my dog has had including over night in the hospital in potters bar didn't add up to the first bill from Great Ashby. I would never recommend them atal. Rip my boy.

SHARON & TRACEY are angry Nasty aggressive UNEMPATHETIC receptionists whom work at both sites. Have no consideration 4 the animals phlight just their own EGOs. Please read other reviews as they are both mentioned. No point in taking it to practice manager as its all in house & nothing gets done. I am seeking outside professional guidance on making a complaint OVER THERE HEADS. Animal welfare is nowhere 2b seen in the practice.

I just want to say a big thank you to Elliot who recently treated my cavalier king Charles spaniel. Elliot made a very quick diagnosis, put him on the right treatment and routinely checked up on him throughout his recovery. My dog is now back to good health. Elliot was professional, caring, knowledgeable and really showed compassion and care for my dog. Thank you Elliot.
