We provide a full ambulatory service enabling us to come to you with caring, professional advice and treatment allowing you the time and attention you need.
We treat all your smallholder species from chickens and ducks to backyard goats and alpaca. We want you to feel that you can call on one vet to advise you on all the different species you enjoy having. Lauran qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006 having attained a Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine.

We were referred to Hammond Vets by the Royal Vet College after our pet chicken suffered a prolapse earlier this week. Although it was pretty obvious that nothing could be done to help her, I honestly think the same care would have been given if she were a prized racehorse. The compassion shown to my son (who hand reared her) was wonderful and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Lauren came out to check our pony after she had been lame for sometime. Her kindness and compassion towards Rosie was extremely reassuring. Her explanation was very straightforward and unhurried. Lauren cane up with various options for us to consider. We never felt pressured, just informed. I would certainly recommend her.
