We are a small animal practice in Hertfordshire established in the early 1960's. Originally based in Attimore Hall, we have since moved next door to our current hospital premises and in 2012 became a CVS practice. Your pets are our priority and our skilled team of vets and nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals.

Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and nurses are devoted to your pet's health and wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. In house medical procedures including X-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, blood and urine tests. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for repeat prescriptions. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.

In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call your local surgery or the Welwyn Garden City hospital on 01707 331963 and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please call 01707 331963 and your call will be diverted to Great Ashby Veterinary Hospital.

Jack qualified in Veterinary Nursing in 2018 and was awarded "the UK's Runner up" for Hills Pet Slimmer of the year in both 2017 and 2018 for "managing weight with excellence". He is a clinical coach and is dedicated to training his students, and helping his team provide the highest standard of care for your pets.
