I think you guys are AMAZING the love and care you have been giving my little Ellie dog is just making this whole process easier. The best vets in St Albans / Hatfield, we only stopped using them because we moved to Torbay. Cannot praise village vets enough for what they have done for both my cats!
You won't find a better vets than this one, everyone is so helpful and caring and they always think of your needs and circumstances. Moved to this vets when we moved to the area. They were amazing with us as one of our cats had already been diagnosed with cancer and supported us through this right up until the end.

Services
Due to an overwhelming response and without wanting to affect the exacting level of service were proud to provide, we are temporarily closing our books for new registrations. Rest assured, this is only a short term measure and we look forward to welcoming new patients again very soon!. We are busy behind the scenes expanding our team, so when availability does raise, we look forward to making a welcoming phase call to register you.
At The Village Veterinary Surgery, we strongly believe in practicing the best quality preventative and wellness care for our patients. This is the best way to make sure your pet lives a long healthy life with as few illnesses as possible. Just like us, pets can be at risk of catching a range of infectious diseases, some of them potentially deadly.
The rules for taking your pet to any EU country will change if the UK leaves the EU with no deal and is treated as an unlisted country. You must get your dog, cat or ferret microchipped and then vaccinated against rabies before it can travel. Your pet must have a blood sample taken at least 30 days after the rabies vaccination.
Our practice offers hospitalization services. Hospitalization involves admitting your pet into the hospital for monitoring or necessary medical care. Your pet will have their own cage or kennel within the hospital building and will be monitored closely by nurses and vets throughout their stay. Your pet will receive medical treatments (such as medications, fluid therapy, and physical therapy) as directed by the vet.
Dental hygiene is an important part of your pet's health and can often be the cause of serious illness. If left untreated, dental problems can lead to larger systemic issues in your pet due to oral bacteria entering the blood stream and damaging the kidneys, heart and liver. In fact, it is estimated that more than 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats develop tooth and gum disease by the age of three years.

We had multiple dogs over the years and loving in North West London, we used to opt for local vets. We were recommended by friends to try the village surgery and it was the best move we could have made.
AMAZING service by all staff members. Friendly and professional. We always felt our dogs are in the best caring hands.
Prices are also more reasonable compared to the local vets and well worth the short drive.
Highly recommended!
