Sadly, Berry House Vets have had to make the extremely hard decision to 'close our books'; this means that, temporarily, we can no longer accept New Client Registrations. This decision has been a hard one for us to make but has been necessary due to the extremely high number of new pets taken on over recent months.

On behalf of our team we would like to extend a warm welcome to you, your family and your pet. Berry House has been a known and respected name in the area for over 50 years. Our main veterinary surgery is in the heart of Hitchin Town, providing animal care to town residents and those in the surrounding countryside.
Below is a list of some of the services that are available to help your pet. However, we have access, through colleagues and acquaintances to most treatments. Please ring and ask if something that you are interested in or think would help is not shown here and we will always try to arrange it for you.
Our team were all hands-on deck whilst six kittens were retrieved and removed from their birthing sacs. We are happy to report that Peaches and all six of her kittens recovered well from the surgery and are happy and healthy. A huge well done to Peaches for being the perfect mother to her babies! We are delighted to be able to share our collection of photos from just after they were born to their second vaccinations with us last week.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
