Services
The Practice in Barton-le-Clay is an RCVS accredited hospital, which is the highest status the RCVS can award in the UK. Facilities at our hospital in Barton-Le-Clay include 3 consulting rooms, a safe and secure ward for in-patients and day-patients including a separate cattery. We are also lucky enough to have a state of the art CT scanner to complement our other diagnostic equipment.
Consultations are by appointment only: please phone, book through our online form or stop by the hospital to book. In an emergency we will aim to see you immediately. If you think your pet may require an extended appointment, or you wish to see a particular vet, please mention this at the time of booking.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
If it's not possible for you to attend the practice but you need some advice or your pet is unwell, we can offer you a video consultation. We would always prefer to see you face to face, but understand this is not always possible in the current circumstances. Step 1: Phone us and advise the receptionist that you'd like to arrange a video consultation.
Pet insurance provides cover for veterinary fees in the event that your pet becomes injured or unwell. It can provide peace of mind that you're in a position to afford all the veterinary care your pet may need. With veterinary medicine employing expensive medical techniques and medication, and with pet owners caring more and more about their pets' health, pet insurance is becoming increasingly popular.

The whole reception team always go above and beyond in helping when us anxious owners with a poorly pet need reassurance. They are knowledgeable and are all so kind, patient and genuinely caring. Nothing is too much trouble and even if us owners are flustered and stressed, they all have a calming, reassuring nature which makes you feel completely safe in their hands as they show real heartfelt care towards your pet. The vets are absolutely fantastic at listening to specific complex problems and show special care towards a tailored treatment which is always successful. The approach is very caring
