The practice was started in the 1970's by Mr & Mrs Moravec. It originally looked after all types of animals but later became more specialised, treating only small animals. As the customer list has increased we have been able to employ more vets. We make sure that we employ vets who have a similar interest in the care and welfare of small animals.
In 2003 the practice opened a new venture in Grantham. The nurses and vets were so confident of their care and compassion we entered the Grantham Journal Business Awards for Customer Care. In 2004 we won this award beating ASDA into second place. All our vets undergo constant continuing education programmes and both practices are involved in veterinary nurse training.

Services
We have a large welcoming reception area for pets and their owners to sit whilst waiting for their appointment. Information on a variety of subjects about pet health is available. Receptionists are happy to answer questions and to offer advice. Weighing scales are also available to accurately monitor your pets' weight.
We've partnered with Video Vets Now so you can speak to a vet from home or out and about - 7 days a week between 8am and 11pm. Consults are 10 mins and cost 24. If your pet needs to be seen by us or Vets Now, your original 24 payment will be refunded. We partnered with Video Vets Now to help you get the advice and reassurance you need, wherever you are.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
Bray House has chosen to partner with Vets Now to deliver the best possible out of hours care for your pet. If your pet becomes ill or is involved in an accident during the night or at the weekend, a dedicated emergency veterinary team is available to care for your animal. Vets Now staff only work outside normal working hours ensuring they are fresh and ready to see your pet.
Pet insurance provides cover for veterinary fees in the event that your pet becomes injured or unwell. It can provide peace of mind that you're in a position to afford all the veterinary care your pet may need. With veterinary medicine employing expensive medical techniques and medication, and with pet owners caring more and more about their pets' health, pet insurance is becoming increasingly popular.

Bray House staff are always attentive and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Even after not visiting due to the pandemic the Vet remembered my two cats and commented on how much they had grown. She took her time to talk to me, check I was happy before she took them inside. On entering the reception to pay all the staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommend
