Ananti Shah has been practicing yoga for 25 years, after completing an intensive and experiential training at the Swami Vivekanada Yoga Research Foundation (S-Vyasa) in India in1995. She specialises in yoga for pregnancy and the post-natal year. Through her own experiences of motherhood, she fully understood the benefits of yoga for pregnancy, the birthing process and mothering.
Yummy Yoga is now offering online Zoom Pregnancy Classes to prepare you for this special time entering motherhood during lockdown! Please note due to the current situation there may be changes too the courses at short notice. But we will always inform you. At Yummy Yoga we know that pregnancy and childbirth can present the greatest challenges in a woman's life.
Yummy Yoga love babies and yoga so our Mum & Baby Yoga classes are a joy! These classes are very popular and fill up quickly so do book early to avoid disappointment. Our Mum and baby classes are a great way to tone up whilst spending precious time bonding with your new baby. You'll also get to meet new Mums in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.
Freedom Yoga: A journey within - Awaken and unfold the inner awareness. We will offer an experiential space to feel the depths of our true nature through the rhythmic flow of yoga posture, simple breath techniques (pranayama), sounding and relaxation. Our Teachers are trained yoga teachers with over 20 years of personal & teaching experience.

Ananti is an amazing yoga teacher and her many years of experience really shines through. She is warm, welcoming and her classes are dynamic. She cares about her students and gives different options to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. You will learn so much from her, I highly recommend her classes!

I have been doing classes with Ananti for a few months now and am thoroughly enjoying them. The pace is perfect and she always thinks about each of her students offering different options so that everyone can practice safely and confidently - a sign of a brilliant teacher! Her classes have a good level of challenge, tips for pregnancy and birth and deep relaxation. I’ve been practicing yoga for quite a few years and am so glad I started classes with Ananti, I feel I am learning so much from her.

The breathing techniques learned at the pregnancy yoga classes really helped me to stay focused during labour and progress with gas and air. One of the great things about this class was how it was tailored to the group to help with any issues we faced during the week like back pain, etc... Another bonus was the friendly group and it was a great way to get some exercise in. I'd definitely recommend this class!

I highly recommend this class. I was left feeling refreshed and it eased the stiffness and aches as I grew bigger. My partner and I also attended Ananti's labour class. The breathing techniques, use of sound and massage that we learned proved invaluable. I am pleased to say I had a quick, intervention free labour and delivery which I largely credit to this class.

Yoga with Ananti has been a fabulous experience. Her classes kept me calm, focused and relaxed throughout my pregnancy up until birth of my baby girl. Had a super quick labour of under 2 hours, i truly believe that's due to both yoga and hypnobirthing.. focus on the breath and keep a positive frame of mind!

Attending the weekly yoga classes with Ananti has been a pleasure throughout my pregnancy. It has kept me mobile and I have also really valued the focus on taking time to unwind and relax. It is a supportive environment and the small class size means that the content is adapted to the needs of those attending. I would thoroughly recommend it to others.

I went to the classes at Harrow Masonic Centre. Would wholeheartedly recommend. The midwife said as soon as she saw me that she could tell I had done yoga (and I was at home until 5cm dilated). The labour yoga was particularly helpful in terms of preparing for a natural labour which I succeeded in having. I also used Ananti's yoga music to help me sleep during late pregnancy. Had it on during labour and now I like to think it helps to settle bubba!

Ananti's classes are fantastic, really helped me relax, focus my mind, both within the class and beyond. She tailors her teaching and focus on individuals' needs and is very flexible. Loudwater farm is also a gorgeous peaceful setting to practice yoga indoors or outdoors. I look forward to returning for post-natal classes :)
