A delightful country pub, literally in the middle of nowhere. But close enough to Usk.
Walking in the first thing to notice is the quite small bar area with a warming fire and adjoining dinning room. Then on the bar Abbot, Bass and Butty Bach. Heaven!
The 5 of us had the single table in another room. I won't describe the table, just go and see it.
The food was great. I had the Steak & Ale pie which was superb, with a top to do it justice. The others were just as good, with all plates cleared, completely.
We will be going back.

They greyhound is just the most wonderful local pub. Great food, caring staff, and excellent booze selection - most of which is local. Kelly the landlady is such a lovely host, and goes out of her way to make every occasion perfect.
