St Bernadettes Roman Catholic Primary School Aided
I am very proud to welcome you to St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Primary School. Our school is a thriving community made up of an inspiring group of talented and enthusiastic children; dedicated and passionate staff; a supportive and committed governing body and an extremely supportive and active parent body.
Services
Our mission as a Roman Catholic primary school is to provide a Catholic education that puts the word of God at the centre of school. Our purpose is the happiness of all of our community through the pursuit of school-wide excellence; with success measured on our ability to sustain and enhance our position as a thriving example of Christ-centred education.
Her parents were very poor and she herself was in poor health, suffering all her life from asthma. The lovely Lady was dressed in blue and white. The beautiful Lady was God's Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. She appeared to Bernadette seventeen other times and spoke with her. She told Bernadette that she should pray for sinners, do penance and have a chapel built there in her honour.
Our school's admissions policy is available below and has been formally adopted by the Governing Body. Applications for nursery places at St. Bernadette's can be made at any time of the year by completing one of our register of interest forms, see below, and returning it to school with any other relevant paperwork.
The Governing Board of St. Bernadette's RC Primary School works with the Headteacher to preserve and develop the Catholic ethos of the school and promote and maintain high standards of educational achievement. Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils and the performance management of staff and, .
Collective Worship is central to the life of our school for all and is the heart of every school celebration which 'brings the whole school together' (parent voice, 2018). Praying together and a commitment by all to strengthen every member of our school communities relationship with Christ is part of the daily experience for all pupils and staff.

Hi all, I just wanted to share something that my Mam has just sent me. She’s been clearing out whilst in lockdown. I was a pupil at St Bernadettes until 1991. This was the annual Christmas play in 1990. Find memories 😊
My little girl is due to join the school nursery in September.

My Grand daughter Isabel Gallagher gave me my candle and message today.
I have been unwell with Pneumonia for the past few weeks and have missed a lot of activities that I would normally do at this special time… of year.
Isabel explained very well the purpose and meaning of this gift and I was deeply touched by the gift and thought contained.
