St Teresa's is a Christ centred school. We aim to nurture and develop each individual child in order that they can become the best human being they can possibly be. Our work is rooted in Gospel values of love, respect, trust and forgiveness. Our exciting, creative curriculum motivates children as learners and leads them towards fulfilling their full academic potential.

St Teresa's is a welcoming, friendly school where the three way partnership between home - child - school truly flourishes.
Services
This is an outstanding school. The entrepreneurial skills of the headteacher have resulted in an innovative and creative curriculum which is delivered through consistently high quality teaching. As a result, pupils are exceptionally well prepared for their next stage of education and future economic well-being.
You will be aware the Internet hosts many exciting opportunities for education. The online world is a wonderful place for young people to explore, with unprecedented opportunities for learning and creativity, but just like the real world there are risks and dangers they should be aware of and which we should all act to protect them from.
We offer a range of different Sporting clubs at St. Teresa's throughout the year and we try to utilise our space inside and outside of the school to the best of our ability. We use our school hall for indoor clubs, our school yard, the surrounding area of Heaton Park and our Forest School to run various opportunities for children to try a range of sports.
Parents can request copies of documents found on the website, free of charge from the school office. Mrs Sara Harwood, our Finance and Administration Officer can help parents or members of the public with any specific queries. If you have any concerns regarding your child and special educational needs and disabilities, our school SENCO is Miss Amy Joynes.
