The amazing Jaydon Paddock was in South Street today to put the children through some fitness challenges. All the boys and girls had to see how many spotty dogs, mountain climbers, push-ups and star jumps they could do in a minute, with Jaydon encouraging them to push.
Services
They know how to be independent learners and what they can use within their classroom to support them. They adapt learning activities for our children based on assessment throughout the lesson. They give immediate feedback to children to address misconceptions and to move learning forward. They give children guidance and opportunities to make improvements to their learning from any written improvements.
The Nursery and eleven classes are organised into four phase groups across the school i.e. Where it is of benefit to the children, some grouping by ability may occur. All teaching and associate staff work collectively as part of a whole school team and are lead by experienced phase team leaders.

Visits to look around our school are warmly welcomed, whether you are a new family or an existing one, and appointments can be made by contacting the school office. The Gateshead Council Primary Admissions web page also features a range of information for parents and a link to the Online Applications service.
We encourage our children to be creative, unique, open-minded and independent individuals, respectful of themselves and of others in our school, our local community and the wider world. We aim to nurture our children on their journey through life so they can grow into safe, caring, democratic, responsible and tolerant adults who make a positive difference to British Society and to the world.
This booklet was produced jointly by Gateshead Council and the health service in partnership with parents and carers. It will help us to make sure that we are providing the sort of services that families have told us they need. It will be reviewed every 12 months so that it continues to reflect the views and needs of families living in Gateshead.
These figures tell you about performance of pupils at our school at KS2 (school years 3 to 6), which are the last four years of the primary phase of education. Due to the changes in SATs, for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, information is now very different to what has been presented in the past.

South Street Primary is a good school with ambitions to be outstanding. With a great set of good and outstanding teachers and a passionate head teacher that is driving the school and it's pupils to be all they can be.
The school itself has a wonderful atmosphere, with some great outdoor space. A winning football team, many interesting activities and runs a code club.
It also has a good nursery attached.
