Started training in the martial arts & physical training in the 1980s when I was at high school. The first arts I began with were Boxing, Kickboxing, Kung Fu. I have been working in the security industry since 1994 (private & public) and in that time have worked for event security, close protection, Ministry of Defence, Night Club security.
Jeet Kune Do is Simply to Simplify - Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do is style of no style, it's a concept and philosophy. Jeet Kune Do (the way of the intercepting fist) is the art of intercepting. Bruce Lee was way ahead of his time - cross training in different arts was unheard of in 1960s & 1970s, before MMA was even popular.

The coaches here are passionate about martial arts and in helping you achieve your goals. Norm (owner & head coach) has over 30 years experience in martial arts and is highly skilled and loves sharing his knowledge and helping others. It is a very friendly club and all abilities are very welcome. I started with no experience in JDK and felt very welcome and supported. The training helps me for my work, but also for my fitness and confidence. It is very reasonably priced for the level of coaching you receive. Exceptional value. Really recommend.

This is a really friendly mixed martial arts club that is very welcoming to all levels. really focuses his training and coaching on helping you to meet your goals, he is very patient and coaches very well, breaking down the moves clearly so they are easy to pick up. I have seen a big improvement in my own kickboxing skills and self defence skills which is due to great coaching. I definitely recommend this club. Learning gun and knife disarms keeps the class varied and interesting. You do not need a high level of fitness to join in with the classes, the focus is more on learning techniques.
