Situated in the heart of Witney on High Street, Il Gusto is an authentic Italian restaurant in Witney town centre. Our restaurant and cuisine represent the best traditional home-cooked Italian food, recreated in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for an authentic experience of fantastic Italian food.

Our restaurant is proud to offer you a wide range of incredibly delicious Italian dishes including our renowned fresh pasta, grilled and pan-fried fish and meat, antipasti selection and of course specialty bread and salads. Our wine program features a mostly Italian wine list, presented by region with a map of DOCs and DOCGs accompanied by traditional local dishes, helping to demystify Italy, the most diverse viticultural nation in the world.

If you would prefer not to sit-down in the restaurant, we are offering Garden Party Takeaway food. If you would like a lunch party for more than 7 people please order in advance and we can provide a Takeaway lunch party. For orders with over 7 people we will give you an Il Gusto dessert platter to enjoy.

Been here twice this weekend and both visits have been great. Staff are really good and food is lovely. Pizzas are fab and the lasagne was "one of the best" my wife has ever had. Just try it and see.

Great Restaurant, the pasta with swordfish was good and the beef medallion fillers were beautifully cooked, the ambient was cozy, some music but not too loud so you can talk.

An excellent Italian restaurant with plenty of delicious Sea and Ground dishes, really nice wines and some amazing deserts. Do try their starters and have a bite of their great coffee cake. Would recommend for both Italians and non Italians.

This little Italian restaurant is truly special - so much so, we visited on two occasions during our recent brief staycation. The menu has an excellent assortment of delicious dishes to suit all tastes with the food beautifully presented and full of flavour; there is also an extensive choice of wines, spirits and liqueurs. The staff are helpful, thoughtful and friendly, making any evening here a sheer delight and if you like Italian food, this restaurant is the place to go - Thank you Il Gusto! A & G, Suffolk

Lovely food two nights in a row with our lovely friends. Could have eaten anything on the menu. Very reasonable prices and great service. Francesco was really helpful and friendly.
Would go again if in the area 🙂 .
Definitely a five star experience 👍

The food was wonderful & really delicious .... but sadly the service did not match! Long waits, mains delivered individually, drinks order not actioned until reminded, and we had to request the bill twice! So disappointed, as it was a special event 😢

Oh my goodness where to start!! We always get IlGusto take away delivered, but thought we’d pop in for lunch too. Amazing experience from when we walked in to walking out! Garlic bread was delicious, grilled pork with mushroom sauce was incredible that the profiterole dessert was like to other! Honeslty, even the bottled still water was lovely ☺️ We can’t wait to come back - thank you so much! ❤️

A good rustic restaurant. I enjoyed my pizza and the tiramisù for dessert. Staff were very pleasant and helpful as I needed my phone charged behind the counter due to it being very low on battery.
I am… convinced the manager is a gamer given the amount of tracks from the playlist that are used in Fallout 3/NV, BioShock and Mafia II. 😃
