A really lovely Sunday birthday meal for an 80th birthday. The whole atmosphere was lovely, the restaurant layout was spacious and nicely decorated. The staff were super attentive, helpful and efficient and the food was delicious and well presented. Really enjoyed it. It's not in our normal area but would certainly be back if it was!

Was nice pub food. Not much more than that though. I was happy to spend the money and would go again. Nothing too over the top. If you like classic pub food then this is the place for you. I wouldn't choose it for a special occasion like anniversary or birthday. Pints are reasonably priced. The outside of the pub is beautifully lit up in the evenings. Inside decor is classic pub feel. Wasn't overly busy for a saturday night. Service was good. We were left to our meals and very rarely bothered. Quick check back as standard. Waitresses were polite and so was the manager/owner?

Very pleased we chose this place to meet up for a Sunday lunch with family for my birthday. Delighted with the roasts - perfect pork crackling. Super Yorkshire pudding, (not hard to cut through like other pubs). All of us thought the puddings exceptional. They made my son a jug of custard with his treacle tart instead of ice-cream. The staff were charming. I was pleased that we'd booked to stay on in one of their spacious rooms which was rather nice quality and quiet. The bed was heavenly. Full marks too for the complimentary breakfast pack - croissant, jam, cherry yogurt, nakd peanut delight bar
