Great sunday roast. Dog friendly, very helpful staff, kid friendly. Looking forward to going back. Lovely walks nearby to earn your lunch or walk it off afterwards.

Visited here last night with my Mum and Sister and we loved it. Two of us had the pie which was fantastic, and my Mum had the burger which she was delighted with. Really gorgeous pub and the food was great!

Friendly efficient staff. Great upmarket pub food. Comfortable bedroom. Two chairs would have been good as nowhere to sit in hotel apart from the bar.

A word of warning. Do not try to stop over at Swan Inn, Swinbrook, Burford. I found it on a stopover page. We parked up and asked the staff if it was OK to stay the night before ordering lunch (which was delicious BTW). They checked we weren't causing any obstruction and gave the green light. I proceeded to have 2 glasses of wine. Then the owner arrived and told us we had to move!! What could we do?? I never drink and drive, and told him that but he was insistent. Very irresponsible of him. We will never return. 😡

We had a big group for Sunday lunch and having pre-booked managed to get a big table inside. Staff were very friendly, helpful to all our requests and going above and beyond to serve our needs. You could put it down to being fussy but shame there was no chicken otherwise good varied menu.

The pub is set in a lovely village and has loads of character. The menu was a bit limited and there was no option of a roast (we went on Sunday) as apparently they had run out at lunchtime. There were quite a few starters and desserts but only a few main courses. The table we had was wobbly, the chicken parfait came without the chutney so I had to leave the table to ask for it and the burger came without the coleslaw. It was just a bit disappointing, however, what we did have tasted nice.

Charming little pub in the village of Swinbrook. Nice food and a good range of local real ales. The hosts are very welcoming and are able to offer nice accommodation. The pub garden is a joy on a warm summer's day.

Uninspiring menu but what is there is ok. The pub itself is nice but they need to address the issue of sticky tables. They need a good wash down at the end of each day. We found it really quite unpleasant that if and when one put ones hand on the table top it was actually sticky. Jerseys also tended to stick. It should be easy to sort out so please do it.

Lovely spot. We had our meal in the garden and the weather was perfect. Our server was a hoot and had tons of personality. Meals were all good. A few delays here and there. It was a busy evening and staff were run off their feet. Very pleasant evening and we would happily eat there again.
