Leonard Brothers Veterinary Centre
We are a modern, family run, practice with traditional values but up to date treatments. We treat your pet as we would treat our own. Our veterinary team are constantly improving their skill base and knowledge through training and we have several vets with Advanced Practitioner status recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary surgeons.

We also have visiting Specialists who attend our practice to give your pet the most comprehensive care. Choosing a vet practice is a big decision and, as pet owners ourselves, we understand the importance of getting it right. We pride ourselves on spending quality time with pets and their owners and maintaining outstanding levels of communication.
Services
Some things won't change. For example - if you have an Emergency please call our normal number and you will be advised on what to do next (24hrs a day). We know clients prefer to see their normal vet, at their normal practice so we want to continue to provide this service as much as possible.

Outside these times, to allow our vets and nurses to get a proper night's sleep, our phone systems will divert you to the Vets Now team, who will manage any emergencies overnight.Vets Now is the equivalent of an accident and emergency service, dedicated to providing pets with access to a vet out of hours.
Here at Leonard Brothers we understand that our feline friends like a visit to the doctors about as much as we do. We have created a separate area for cats to wait in away from the scary dogs. Cats like to hide away and watch the world from a place of safety so the cubbyholes give them a sense of security while they are out of their comfort zone.
Here at Leonard Brothers we are very keen to encourage the next generation of vets and vet nurses and many of you may have met some of the numerous students who have spent time at the practice. Students who are interested in veterinary medicine have to complete a broad portfolio of work experience prior to applying to college.
Osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition of cartilage and bone. In arthritic animals, the cartilage in the joints breaks down faster than it can repair. This affects the normal joint stability and lubrication which results in joint pain. As the disease progresses new bone forms around the joints which causes more pain.
It is not essential for a bitch to have a litter for medical or behavioural reasons so, as there are lots of dogs needing homes in rescue centres, breeding shouldn't be undertaken lightly. Rearing a litter or pups is a lot of hard work and worry but also can be a very rewarding experience. Vaccinations - make sure your bitch is fully vaccinated to protect her and her pups.

The vet him self was lovley but Do not buy one of there dog plans , I did the Life Time Care Club and you do not get what they tell you , you get , an when you complain an ask to speak to the vet him self ,I got a very old stropy receptionist who was totally abusive and rude.
I had the practice manager phone me who was lovley ,she tried to resolve my issue and I made a complaint, but the receptionist story was different to mine ! I advised them to go and look at there camera's, I was given wormer and flee treatment ,but not the booster inj which is payed for in your plan,
It is not a Life Time

Fantastic veterinary practice, extremely friendly and caring for pets. We took our cat for his first consultation which was free and unexpected. Provided a detailed estimate for further procedures too.

My dog Odi is two years old, he is very alive and he is bursting with energy. He suffered a paw injury on a walk, it was necessary to X-ray, God, what will it be? after all, he does not allow himself to be touched by strangers. Meanwhile, the doctor took him and made an x-ray within 5 minutes, without any anesthesia .. Full professionalism !!! not for the first time, thank you very much :)
