Congleton Veterinary Centre
We offer all of the facilities that you come to expect in a high quality first-opinion veterinary practice, including vaccinations, microchipping, neutering, x-rays, ultrasonography, full dental and surgical theatres, nurse clinics (often free of charge), as well as a well-equipped on-site laboratory.

In addition, we have several features of which we are very proud. These include the addition of two brand new consultation rooms, which have been built in order to cater for our ever-growing number of patients, and provide the room to see your pet in a professional and purpose built setting, as quickly as possible.
Services
Appetite (increased with conditions such as diabetes and hyperthyroidism, and decreased with hypothyroidism, for example). Urogenital health, such as prostatic disease (male dogs) or uterine disease (most commonly Pyometra, in unspayed female dogs and cats). Early detection of these changes gives us the best opportunity to manage them promptly and appropriately, which in turn may improve your pet's quality of life and promote longevity.
When well, our aim will be to keep you that way by recommending best practice preventative healthcare to your owner. When ill, our mission will be to get you through your illness as quickly and safely as possible. When illnesses are more chronic, then our focus will be on managing your disease in line with your quality of life, including addressing your pain relief needs.
We are planning on organising a dog blood bank donation clinic, and need your help! 50 dogs are required for the clinic to be viable. This is being organised through Pet Blood Bank UK, and will be held at our clinic on a Saturday in the future (once required donor numbers have been achieved). Leaflets providing further information are available in reception, but please call if you have any questions on 01260 272131.
Here at Congleton Veterinary Centre we welcome work experience and EMS students. We are a busy small animal practice with a very friendly team. Our staff are committed and motivated to constantly provide the highest standard of care for our patients. We have vets who range from newly graduated to 20 years qualified, as well as many registered veterinary nurses.
Pet insurance provides cover for veterinary fees in the event that your pet becomes injured or unwell. It can provide peace of mind that you're in a position to afford all the veterinary care your pet may need. With veterinary medicine employing expensive medical techniques and medication, and with pet owners caring more and more about their pets' health, pet insurance is becoming increasingly popular.

I am so glad our four pets are registered here. Everyone here is vital to the team and it works brilliantly. On the professional level it's 5 stars. On the personal care it's that too.

Always a pleasure. Generally respectful of my specific needs, which is an improvement over most places. Not as cheap as big chains, but much more personal, which imo is worth the payoff.
