It soon becomes apparent that Blue House Vets is easy to find. With easy access from the Biddulph Bypass, bringing your pet to the surgery is made easier by the ample, safe, off-road parking on site. We can of course help you from the car with your pet - just ask. Our waiting room has that 'living room' feel.
In case of an emergency outside office hours, please phone the normal practice number 01782 522100, and you will be given the number of our night service. You can also call them directly on 01782 417882 (Longton) or 01625 348284 (Macclesfield). At nights and weekends (after 1pm Saturday) we employ a 24-hour deputising service in order to provide the best levels of care for your pet.
Dental disease is the most common medical condition we see in dogs and cats, and at Blue House we care about it. All of our dental procedures take place in our dedicated dental room, boasting modern human-specification equipment for ultrasonic de-scaling and polishing, and surgical extraction of teeth when it is necessary.
Deciding that it is time to say goodbye to your much loved pet is never easy. Once that decision has been made, it is important that it is achieved in the kindest and most peaceful way possible for all involved. We can perform euthanasia either in the comfort of your own home or in our special Blue Room - a quiet, non-clinical room providing all the comforts and privacy of home, along with the medical support of the surgery.
Fast results - our in-house blood sample machine can produce results within 10 minutes, allowing rapid assessment of sick pets, and can also provide sameday screening and monitoring tests. Testing of urine and skin samples will often be performed on site by our experienced clinical team.
This is complimented by the use of external specialist laboratories for specific expert advice, and services such as detailed hormone testing, allergy testing or analysing tissue samples or cells.The majority of the labs we use offer a rapid turnaround and results will often be available within 24 hours of submission.

Rang around 5 vets before this one. This is the only place to inform me that my dogs vaccination is compatible with another brand instead of just telling me no. Booked in for her 2nd jabs. The vet was amazing. Checked her over, recommended an ear cleaner, showed me how to check her ears, gave her a good fuss after her injection then gave me a puppy pack with goodies in on my way out. 100% recommend 🐶 and will be using for all my puppy needs
