CRGV (Cutaneous and Renal Glomerular Vasculitis) or Alabama Rot is a newly recognised disease in the UK. We do not yet know what is causing this disease, but there have been cases recognised in the Stoke-on-Trent area recently. The disease is often fatal. However, the transmission of the disease is currently unknown, but it does not seem to be passed between dogs or to affect people.
Please be aware that you may find some of the case studies and their accompanying images upsetting, and viewer discretion is advised. Some breeds of dogs, most notably pugs and Shih Tzus, suffer from a condition whereby the cornea, which is the surface of the eye begins to darken and develop patches of pigment where it should be crystal clear.
At Willow Veterinary Clinic we are proud of the multidisciplinary qualifications and experience our vets currently hold. As well as GP certificates in areas such as medicine, neurology and exotics our vets also hold Advance Practitioner status in multiple disciplines, including ophthalmology, imaging, surgery and feline medicine.

Yes always find all the vets and staff very helpful and it is reasonably priced compared to other vets and they spend money on new euiptment and improve the premises to make it more comfortable on a visit

Can't really say a lot about the experience with all these covid restrictions. The vet comes to the car to collect your pet asks you what the problem is when really they should know what your pet has come for. My cat just needed to be microchipped and injected so would have thought that would be on the notes when we booked him in over the phone. They take your pet away to get the relevant treatment so you don't get much of a conversation going which is a bit disappointing but I suppose covid has changed things a lot. They bring that pet back and you go in to pay the bill. Not really much of an

Can't fault them. Vicky n Clive are excellent vets and all of their staff are friendly and helpful. Cost is good as well if you don't have insurance.
