We are a small animal veterinary practice, with branches in Alsager, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Sandbach. First established in the 1950's for large animal, the small animal practice was established in the 1960's and became part of the CVS family in 2007. Your pets are our priority and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals.
This year is the 15th anniversary of Rabbit Awareness Week and the campaign will cover all aspects of rabbit care through their lifetime. Rabbits are living longer as we learn more about how to care for them properly and as veterinary medicine advances. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

County Vets is a group of vets dedicated to small animal practice with a wide variety of interests and expertise. We have a fantastic nursing team of nurses, some fully qualified (RVN) and some student veterinary nurses (SVN), who provide a high standard of care towards our patients. We are very proud of their dedication towards their careers and devotion to caring for your pets.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's well-being. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgery we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for "repeat prescriptions". Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call one of our surgeries and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact MiNightVet Stoke on 01782 344222. MiNightVet Stoke is our preferred emergency services partner.
