Enjoy an afternoon tea especially prepared with both savory and sweet delights and a selection of teas and roast coffees. Booking is essential and 'Afternoon Tea Gift Vouchers' can be obtained if you would like to give someone a treat! Our cafe and shop feature all sorts of yummy reasons to drop in - sample our tasty soups, home baking, Fairtrade teas and coffees plus there are local crafts and produce for you to browse and buy.

We are a short walk from the picturesque village of Scotlandwell, with fabulous views overlooking the Lomond Hills to the north, and Benarty Hill to the south. Lochend Farm is a true working farm run by father and son team Mike and Martin Silvera, , so you can also enjoy watching the men work in the fields around the shop!
Services
The delicious smell of our home made soups is only surpassed by their taste and they come highly recommended. So do the bacon and egg rolls (messy but amazing!). We also have a variety of paninis, rolls, sandwiches, salads and savoury flans. We bake fresh scones daily and always have hot puddings, cakes and tray bakes to tempt you - all home made.
We grow our own vegetables on the farm, and buy in other local seasonal produce when necessary. Our home grown vegetables are cut/dug fresh from our fields each day. Our potatoes are harvested in October and kept in our cold store to keep them 'just right', as otherwise they would rot in the ground over winter.
Our carbon footprint is low - we keep everything as local as possible which also means it's fresh. We like to support our local community in whatever is happening! However we are especially committed to raising funds for CHAS. Our second hand books seem to fly off our shelves (some people come especially to browse with a coffee).
This is an area to explore! Whether you have a bike, a dog or you simply love rambling, there are beautiful views to take in and places to explore. The Portmoak Moss (a beautiful piece of woodland combined with one of the last surviving raised bogs in Scotland) or the Michael Bruce Way are just down the road from us and the route encircling Loch Leven has not long been completed.

Lovely location!! Such a nice wee find. Super accommodating for allergies. Had gluten free rolls, some gluten free cakes (which were delicious) and quite a few gluten free things for sale in the shop. Staff were all friendly and chatty. With the stunning views, it's a great wee place!

The service, food, prices, and location make this place unmissable if you are in the area.
A huge lawn with benched tables awaits those who like being in the sun or have dogs.
An open area with roof also allows people to sit outside in the shade or shelter from rain showers.
A gem of a place with food and service to match.
