Please see updated Safeguarding policy for additional information on safe use of the internet and electronic communication platforms during school closure. I am delighted to introduce you to our welcoming and aspirational school, part of the Stour Valley Educational Trust. At Clare Community Primary School our sincere wish is that we can work in partnership to give your child the best possible education and start in life.

We want to encourage and inspire creativity and give as good a foundation as we can in those vital basic skills such as reading and number; but also help our pupils to develop as caring and thoughtful people, able to work and play sensitively with others.
Services
We believe that Clare Community Primary School is a very special place where we all work together to enable our pupils to become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens. We recognise those who embody this ethos through team points, Gold Book Certificates and Headteacher's Certificates during our Celebration Assemblies on Friday mornings.
This is probably one of our most important core values, Enjoying Learning. Our values and ethos are at the heart of our school community and provide the foundations for every element of learning at Clare. Our vision is to deliver a learning experience for each pupil which encompasses each of these core values: Citizenship, Learning to Learn, Aiming High, Respecting Ourselves and Others and, most importantly, Enjoying Learning.
The school's catchment area covers Clare, Stoke by Clare, Wixoe, Boyton End and Poslingford. A number of out-of-catchment families currently attend the school, and we welcome such applications, subject to the availability of places. Suffolk County Council is responsible for admissions of September starters into our Reception class.
A varied menu of healthy lunches is prepared on the premises by our excellent kitchen staff. School dinners are paid for through Parent Pay. Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to "Universal Free School Meals" (FSM). FSMs are available to families in receipt of certain benefits. The school also has a policy of making drinking water accessible to the children at all times.
At Clare Community Primary School we are dedicated to the inclusion and personal development of all children, including those identified as having special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Staff create opportunities for children to have access to resources and environment that promote them achieving their best academic and personal potential, whatever their difficulties might be.
