Here at Nayland children are our priority. This website begins to give information showing how we care for children and endeavour to develop the whole child. We focus on the academic, social, physical, spiritual and emotional growth of all children and we place a great deal of emphasis on the supportive relationships between the school, the parents and the child in order to achieve our goals.
Please view this website as an introduction to our school. We would love you to come in, look around, meet some of the children and staff and have an opportunity to ask all the questions that are sure to occur to you both before and during your visit. We want you to be certain that Nayland is the right choice of school for your child.

Services
Our aim is for the children of Nayland Primary to be provided with excellent learning experiences which lead to consistently high levels of individual academic and social achievement so that they can develop into people with strong feelings of self-worth. We teach a broad and balanced curriculum to a high standard with particular emphasis on literacy and numeracy.
On entering Reception you and your child will spend induction time in their new class and you will be encouraged to share in their learning and take the opportunity to liaise with the teaching team. There will be an informal meeting for new parents on the same day to enable them to speak to the class teacher and the head teacher and ask any questions or sort out any worries.
The school strives to provide the children with a rich and broad curriculum within which all pupils can learn and achieve their best so that they are prepared for life in modern Britain. The curriculum delivers the National Curriculum in an exciting and purposeful way - cross-curricular links are exploited to make learning interesting and meaningful.
On arrival, children are to proceed to the playground. We also offer a DROP AND GO service from 8.50am. Children arriving late or leaving the premises for appointments during the day must report to the school office. Parents, children and the school should always be aware of collection arrangements.
We place great importance on close links between home and school. Staff are always willing to meet with parents but it makes things so much easier if parents can make an appointment in advance. If you have a problem or a query then please CONTACT US and we will try to sort it out. Please let us know of anything that may be helpful to us regarding your child.
