Pot Kiln Primary School
Find out how we provide remote learning for children who are not in the school building and download the relevant apps. Every class will have a coffee/tea morning or afternoon where you can meet the new class-based team including the teacher. The Headteacher will also be present at each of these events.

You can bring younger siblings along if you wish. Our Family Liaison Officer will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have. The children will also be at this event and there will be craft based activities for you all to enjoy together.
Services
We have a purpose built Nursery with a very creative outdoor area as part of its learning space. Here Miss Wood and her team create a fabulous environment for our youngest children to thrive and grow and learn in. One parent on a recent visit said that My child loved the nursery. She learnt so much and this helped her in her schooling tremendously.
Our values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to succeed. At Pot Kiln Primary School we are committed to serving the community at Great Cornard. We recognise the multi-cultural, multi faith and ever-changing nature of the United Kingdom, and those it serves.
As each child progresses through their time at Pot Kiln they build on their previous knowledge and learning and explore new and exciting things. As the children progress through their Pot Kiln journey they build on the skills they use in previous years. Here you can find out more about this progression in each subject.
As a part of your child's educational experience at Pot Kiln Primary School, we aim to promote personal wellbeing and development through a comprehensive taught programme of Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education that gives children and young people the knowledge, under-standing, attitudes and practical skills to live healthy, safe, productive and fulfilled lives, both now and in the future.
Your views are important to us; we are always keen to hear your questions, comments or concerns. Here is how you can share them with us. We encourage parents of all our pupils to keep in close contact with the school - it's nearly always possible to speak with the class teacher for a moment or two before or after school, and a longer discussion can be arranged within a day or two.
