Cullingworth Pre-school
Cullingworth Pre-School is situated in the heart of Cullingworth village, it began as a playgroup in 1971 and is a member of the Pre-School learning Alliance. We have an "Outstanding" Ofsted report, and we are a registered charity. We aim to make welcome all children and their families from the local and wider communities.

Our staff retention is exceptional, some staff members have been working at the Pre-School for over 20 years. This is a big benefit to your children, they get continuity throughout their time with us and a great deal of experience. Our staff continue to train as part of their job role and are encouraged to develop new skills to help educate your children through their play.
Services
At Cullingworth Pre-School the standard of care and education that your child receives is very important to us. We are informed by the curriculum guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage. We provide a wide range of activities and our emphasis is on learning through play. We encourage and support parents to be actively involved in their child's Pre-School learning experience, we welcome parents' views and ideas.
We are run by a voluntary management committee which is made up of past and present parents. All parents are welcome to join and support the running of the Pre-School by being involved with the production and evaluation of the policies and procedures, staff appointments, financial decisions and fund raising.
When an application form is received, the child's name will be entered on the waiting list for the appropriate half-term. If there are insufficient places, any residual names will be placed at the top of a waiting list for the next admission date. You can download our application form, fee payment agreement form, admissions letter and our admissions policy in the Admissions Pack by selecting the relevant button.
We are registered for the nursery education funding for, 3 and 4 year olds, along with eligible 2 year olds. This funding becomes available for children the term after they turn 2 years old, if the families meet the criteria www.gov.uk/free-early-education. Working parents who meet the criteria could be entitled to an extra 15 hours of free childcare for their 3 and 4 year olds.
You will be invited to visit our setting during the term prior to your child joining us. It will give your child a chance to become familiar with the setting and the staff. The staff will support your child to settle in and work alongside carers allowing as much time as is necessary for this process.
