Peter Pan Pre-School stands for educational specialists, wholehearted commitment and comprehensive child care. Increasing demands are being made on child care providers, since all parents want the very best for their children, right from their very first learning experiences. In addition, there is now a marked trend towards early education for children, but still children also need to play, move, get enough exercise and discover their own bodies.
Here at Peter Pan Pre-School, we have a good understanding of children's lives and their social contexts, basing our teaching around them. Supporting and encouraging personality development, autonomy and creativity are top priorities for us. Developing social interaction and understanding differences in others also plays an important role in our work.
Our work has one clear focus: your child's individual needs. In order for us to support your child's development in the best possible way, we employ people with different educational training backgrounds. They all attend regular further training courses, which enable them to bring new ideas and proposals to their daily work - ideas that will also benefit your child!
Will my child cry? - Most probably! Many of the children find it upsetting being left alone for the first time with people they have yet to get to know and trust. We suggest that as your child approaches pre-school age that you come and visit the pre-school. Encourage them to join in the activities and introduce them to the staff.
Successful cooperation between parents and pre-school is important because it also has an effect on your child's development. This is why we encourage a culture of cooperation, continuous exchange between parent and pre-school staff. Peter Pan Pre-School operates a key worker system for monitoring and assessing individual children's progress.
