Bright Sparks Pre School is a non-profit day care for children ages 2-4. We run our services throughout the day, including a Breakfast Club and an After School session for those who usually work late. Bright Sparks Pre-School is situated in purpose-built premises in the grounds of Great Preston C of E School in West Yorkshire.
There are enclosed outdoor areas and the children regularly go out on local outings, for example, to the church, to the woods for nature walks and visits to the library. The pre-school opens from 7.30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. Children attend for a variety of sessions and the pre-school is flexible to your needs.

Services
Bright Sparks is a pre-school and not a nursery, which means we have a high ratio of staff to children, which enables us to deliver a high standard of care for our children. Our ratios are 1 adult to 4 children for 2-3 year olds and 1 adult to 8 children for 3-4 year olds. We offer good quality experiences for children aged 2 to the start of school at 4 years old.
As a childcare provider, we must meet the criteria of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is defined by the Department for Education. This means following a statutory framework set by the government, it outlines the learning, development and care for children aged up to five years old.
We meet the welfare, learning and all-round development needs of children with different backgrounds and levels of ability, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. To help children reach their full potential, we deliver the EYFS curriculum of learning through play and planned focused activities.

I just wanted to say thank you very much for organising and taking the children on the trip yesterday to Scarborough. Scarlett sounds like she had an absolutely fabulous time and saw lots of interesting things. After moving from another nursery as unsettled, worried we may have the same problems, but have not had a single tear, and she loves coming to Bright Sparks.
