Shame to have to write this after years with Camlas but recently our cat required surgery which Camlas wanted £450 for, another vet not 5 miles away ended up doing the surgery for less than £200. I know prices fluctuate but seriously this is just stupid. We have now transferred all our animals away from Camlas as they are just not value for money

We've been using Camlas Petcare Vets for about 11 years now, ever since we adopted our Patterdale terrier cross.
During those 11 years Camlas have delivered our terriers puppies, pulled her through a few tricky illnesses, looked after her long term care, checked her over and jabbed her every year, given her physiotherapy for some lameness and are now tending and treating her arthritis and heart murmur as she reaches old age.
During those 11 years she's been seen by several of the vets there but special mention must go to Becky who currently, despite the restrictions placed on us all by Covid

Personally I wouldn't go here, heard so many people say not to go here unfortunately I had no choice I had to have my cat put to sleep and the vet was so nasty and rude!! The vet needs to look at how she speaks to people and slamming the phone down was shocking, she needs to change her attitude, I will NOT be taking any of my animals here ever! And if you do take you're animals here then good luck because they clearly judge you and don't care!! So STAY AWAY!

We have a holiday home in Llainfair Caereinion and I had to rush my dog here on a Sunday night out of hours. I was met there by a very reassuring and calming vet named Louise Robin who helped me to calm down. The care she provided Coco was second to none! She kept Coco over night to run tests and monitor her and kept me informed. It was confirmed that Coco had bloat and needed emergency surgery. I was allowed to go back to the surgery to sit with her until she was going in. Louise was very supportive and explained the risks etc.
Coco had the extensive surgery and I was allowed back to visit her
