New Foundry Vets
Our tier three hospital is based in Oswestry and we have a branch practice in Rhos. Both our practices are RCVS accredited. This gives you the confidence to know that we have been inspected independently to ensure that we match the stringent requirements set by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, our governing body.

We routinely upgrade our facilities, most recently our imaging and dental suites, to keep us up to date with the exacting RCVS standards. Our New Foundry branch practice in Johnstown was established in 2008 and has recently moved to it new location at 60 Stryt Las. All vet and nurse clinics found on this website are available at this branch surgery, however all surgical procedures take place at our practice in Oswestry.
Services
Our vets and nurses are on hand to offer a range of clinics and services to provide the best care for your pet. Vet consultations are the first point of call for any problem with your pet! Please call reception on 01691 670067 for an appointment with one of our dedicated and knowledgeable vets.

After a thorough examination and a discussion regarding your concerns, our vet can prescribe treatment, recommend further investigations, and discuss any surgical options that are appropriate.Several of our vets have specific areas of interest, including ophthalmology, cardiology and orthopaedics. Longer appointments for these services are available on request.
Here at Park Issa Vets we are very fortunate to be based in such a beautiful location. The Park Issa house has a rich history and at one point was nearly made into a night club! The first mention of the house on a map was in 1771, showing the intended road from the Black Gate to the Turnpike Gate on the way to Shrewsbury.
Our first hero of this decade is Moyesy. A 15 1/2-year-old ginger tom, he is a very handsome gentleman we are sure you will agree. Moyesy is a very vocal cat who loves purring and always responds to his owners, he also knows how to get exactly what he wants. It is not always the uncommon illnesses that make a hero and in Moyesy's case it was hyperthyroidism.
A new addition to the family is a very exciting time, but there can be an overwhelming amount to think about! Book in with one of our lovely nurses for a chat about worming, flea treatment, insurance, neutering, toilet training, microchipping, socialisation and behavioural training.

When your new pet is around 5 months old, this is the perfect time to bring them back in to see the nurse as you may have more questions that you didn't think of at the puppy/kitten chat.During our adolescent check, a nurse can discuss neutering with you, along with other adolescent issues such as changing onto an adult diet, behaviour, and flea and worming treatments.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!

My first visit was a sad one, Park Issa were my emergency cover vets and I was devastated to take my beloved dog there to be put to sleep one night. They handled this very professionally and sensitively despite the covid restrictions.
I had already decided I would be transferring the rest of my pets to Park Issa. Since February I have had to visit on a number of occasions with my remaining dog. The attention she has received there has been outstanding. Queries have been dealt with quickly and I have felt very well supported by the practice.
I expect a lot from a veterinary practice as my animals

The staff here were so kind to me when my little dog Lola was very poorly. They didn't mind me ringing up countless times a day, and kept me very well informed. Wouldn't go anywhere else with my other little dog either. ❤️❤️
