Classical Five Element Acupuncture developed over 2000 years ago in China, from where it spread into many other far eastern countries, and more recently into the West. Throughout the centuries it has been used to help maintain the health and well-being of millions of people around the world. I had been a British Wheel of Yoga teacher since 1984 and developing my healing skills as an acupuncturist was a natural progression.

I had been a British Wheel of Yoga teacher since 1984 and developing my healing skills as an acupuncturist was a natural progression for me. My interest in both Yoga, meditation and Qi Gong continues(including a recent course with Daverick Leggitt: Qi Gong for practitioners), and enables me to teach breathing and relaxation skills to my patients as well as helpful yoga postures where necessary.
This ancient form of acupuncture seeks to return balance to the whole system so that healing can occur. Most conditions can be helped, but your age, general state of health, length of time with the condition all affect how long it takes for acupuncture to help the healing process along. Some people turn to acupuncture for help with a specific symptom or condition.

The initial consultation normally lasts about two hours. We spend about an hour discussing current health issues, medical history, life-style, diet and so on. This enables me to make a diagnosis of how well the organ systems are functioning and so how best to treat you. I usually carry out an AE drain at this first session, to check that no energy is stuck in any of the organs.

I have been going to see Anne for acupuncture for approximately 2 years now for what started as chronic inflammation, digestive issues and autoimmune diseases and recurrent unexplained dangerous skin infections. Anne's wisdom and treatments have been life changing for me. I am a completely different person to who I am when I walked through the door. I'm pain free, inflammation is right down. I only take one medication that I'm hopeful I can eliminate this year. My hair is thickening back up again finally after countless other failed approaches. My eczema is almost gone and I no longer have regular

In June 2017 I went to see Anne. It's taken me a while to leave a review but I said I would because good, honest businesses deserve it.
I'd had pain in my lower back since January and, despite good and bad days, it was getting progressively worse. I eventually went to my doctor but sadly doctors get a lot of lower back complaints and don't really take them very seriously which I felt was the case with me at first. However, when I went back they scheduled a blood test, then an X-ray; this was over the course of about 2 months. I started looking for private therapies in the meantime as I needed
