Since moving away from Kenilworth in spring 2021 I can offer home visits around Kenilworth, some weekend slots at the Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa or a visit to Milcombe OX15 4RS for existing patients only. So if you've been to me before and need a treatment please get in touch and we will work something out, it will be lovely to hear from you!

Since graduating in Five Element Acupuncture in 1997 from the College of Traditional Acupuncture (CTA) I have practised this amazing field of Chinese Medicine in a wide range of places. When I started my acupuncture career in Surrey I split my week between a GP practise, a local prison and a private practise at home and these three different practises gave me great experience which has set me up for the rest of my career to date.
Five Element Acupuncture is a form of diagnosis and treatment which derives from ancient Chinese texts and practices. In nature the five elements are Water; Wood; Fire; Earth and Metal. The five elements are often shown in a diagram like this creating each other. It is at once a simple but extremely complex system which addresses both physical and emotional issues.
Acupuncture aims to keep you in balance with the seasons and thus allow you to deal with events life throws at you more easily. Acupuncture treatment can support you in times of ill health easing anxiety and stress, making you more positive and relaxed. Acupuncture helps restore natural rhythms such as women's cycles and can help with fertility and pregnancy.
Acupuncture is often associated with pain relief more than with other conditions by the public and by western heath practitioners. More clinical trials have been carried out on the use of Acupuncture for pain than for other conditions. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) provides guidelines to the NHS on use of treatments and care of patients.
Individual approach means you get support for issues as they arise during the quitting process. Specific points help withdrawal symptoms from your Liver and cravings from your Lungs (Chinese viewpoint). For help to quite smoking, you'll need a minimum of four sessions @ 100 (some people may need more).
