Licentiate Diploma in Acupuncture following 3 years at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. I specialise in medicine centered around the family, from before conception through to children and parents. I have been practicing a mix of complementary therapies since 1997.

I have found Acupuncture to be the most successful of the disciplines I have learnt and the therapy, which due to its powerful and accurate diagnostic tools; has been most successful in a clinical environment.Since graduating from Reading College of Integrated Chinese Medicine I have continued to train to further my knowledge and help my patients achieve a healthy balanced lifestyle.
Services
Acupuncture is a system of healing which has been practiced in China and other Eastern countries for thousands of years. Its focus is on improving the overall well being of the patient, rather than the isolated treatment of specific symptoms.

According to traditional Chinese philosophy, our health is dependent on the body's motivating energy - known as Qi - moving in a smooth and balanced way through a series of meridians (channels) beneath the skin.If that energy cannot flow smoothly through the body blockages can occur which can cause pain, impaired function of a body part and may stop the body repairing itself properly.
Your first appointment will combine an acupuncture traditional diagnosis along with a first treatment. The first appointment will take up to 90 minutes. Your subsequent acupuncture appointments will take around 40 minutes. A range of daytime and evening appointments are available in clinic. For existing patients home visits are also available.
Think you should sit down to hear my news. Just had a week in Orlando. Managed 6 or 7 hour days in the Parks. Coped with queues (2 hours in US security on feet!) So pleased to have seen all the new Harry Potter stuff which is utterly brilliant. Had thought it was the beginning of the end last spring so can't tell you how much it means to have coped with a big busy holiday.
Q: What should I do before treatment? A: Try not to have a big meal within an hour of your appointment as the process of digestion will alter how your symptoms present to the acupuncturist. Also avoid alcohol and food or drinks which colour your tongue (such as coffee) immediately prior to treatment.
